What is a CSA or Farm Membership?
We offer 4 HeartBeet Farms CSA options for the 2018-2019 season.
What is a Farm Membership at HeartBeet Farms? Since we are focused on connecting families and kids to where their food comes from, our farm memberships are all about families and kids! We do not have typical farm membership or CSA (community supported agriculture) programs. Our goal is to provide families with kid-friendly, healthy produce and local specialty items on a regular basis that are full of nutrition AND that parents know exactly what to do with - whether eating it raw or grilling, baking, boiling, or broiling it! And if you are not sure what to do with it, we provide recipes on our weekly newsletters and @ our Pinterest account.

Tell me more about the Specialty CSA.
While our soil is rejuvenating over the winter months and while our seeds begin to sprout during early winter and spring, we wanted to continue to deliver agricultural-based products to our customers. Some of the products that are selected for our Specialty CSA are from our farm such as the honey. Some of the products were discovered from Jen's Chocolate adventures to cacao farms in Belize, Mexico, Dominican Republic and Grenada and her experiences doing chocolate tastings at events, and other products were delicious, healthy local products that we were lucky to come across! Each HeartBeet Farms Specialty Box will tell a 'story' about the items included!
